Did Divine Intervention Just Save President Trump from the Assassination Attempt?

The Sunday after the failed attempt to take Trump’s life on Saturday July 13, 2024 at a Trump Rally in Butler, PA President Trump posted the following to Truth Social:

Four months prior to the assassination attempt, a prophetic Christian, Pastor Brandon Biggs, saw almost precisely what happened. The video appeared on Youtube under “3 PROPHETS Explain 3 American SOLAR ECLIPSES”. Pastor Brandon Biggs talked about the vision he had while praying and said,

“Then I saw an attempt on his life. This bullet flew by his ear, and it came so close to his head that it busted his eardrum.” 

While the events unfolded on Saturday, Trump said that the bullet went through his ear, but he did not mention any issues with his eardrum.

In the video, Biggs went on about the vision he had and that he saw Trump becoming “radically born again” in the aftermath of the shooting.

He also said the Lord showed him while he was in prayer that he saw many patriots come out and saw Trump winning the election in November. Yet a devastating economic collapse, worse than the Great Depression, will occur shortly after that. Interestingly, he saw the lawsuits being overturned and tossed, which also seem to be unfolding. Just today, Judge Cannon dismissed the documents case based on the unlawful appointment of Jack Smith. However, Jack Smith is trying to appeal it. Also, on July 1, the Supreme Court voted 6-3, stating that President Trump had immunity to the January 6 case brought forth by Jack Smith.

Other prominent voices took to social media to share they believed it was divine intervention that spared Trump’s life as well. 

Florida Senator Marco Rubio, widely regarded as a potential 2024  V.P. choice, posted on X: “God protected President Trump.” 

 

Larry Elder, former Republican candidate for Governor in the State of California and GOP candidate for President said similarly during an interview with Fox and Friends that it was “immaculate protection.” and that there was “divine intervention.”

Political Satirist Alex Stein, while interviewed by Sky News Australia, said that President Donald Trump has been “anointed by God” as “divine intervention” saved his life.

 

House Speaker Mike Johnson also said, “God protected President Trump yesterday.”

 

“Yesterday there were miracles, and I think the hand of God was there too,” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said during an interview on Fox & Friends the day after the shooting.

 

Former Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy also expressed his belief that it was “Divide Providence.” that the bullet did not end Trump’s life.

 

Moderate Republican Rep. Brandon Williams (R-N.Y.) shared his belief on X: “God saved our Republic last night. Extreme voices have stoked the flames in America…”

Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) wrote on X, “God spared Ronald Reagan for a reason. God spared Donald Trump for a reason. God doesn’t miss.” 

Governor Greg Abbott posted to X: “Had it been less than a half inch to the right, he would not have survived. Trump is truly blessed.”

Dustin Burrows, a Lubbock, TX state representative, said he was “thankful to God for protecting him.”

End Wokeness and many others on social media shared a diagram of how close Trump was to being mortally wounded by the turn of his head and also said God had a hand in saving Trump’s life.

Roger Stone, Trump’s good friend and political consultant, shared a political cartoon showing Jesus saving his life.

Video Maker Benny Johnson shared a picture of the bullet whizzing past Trump’s head and also said, “God had his hand on Trump. God is not done with America yet.”

Catturd ™, a political social media personality, also had no shame in proclaiming it was “miraculous.”

Also, former U.S. Army Sniper (R-FLA) Cory Mills said during an interview with Jessie Watters on Fox, “This is a shot within 5 minutes I could teach you to make 9 out of 10 times. This is divine intervention. This is God having his protective hand and wearing, Eph. 6, the armor of God over the President, because this right here, a millisecond or a millimeter in change, and this isn’t an attempted assassination. This is an assassination of a president.”

The New York Post shared a diagram of how President Trump’s head turned slightly just before the bullet grazed his ear as he was showing a chart from the U.S. Border Patrol on the invasion numbers increasing like crazy since Biden took office.

Although, sadly there were two others injured and one fatality. Some argue that it was not divine intervention because former volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore, who recently turned 50, died while using his body to shield his family as the shots rang out. As he hunched over his daughter and wife, a fatal bullet struck him in the head. However, nobody knows what God’s plans are. Why did one live and the other die? It is often a question that comes up during wartime when one soldier lives and others right next to them die. Why does God save one but allow another to be called home and be in God’s loving hands? It is a mystery how to know why free will or an accident or other causes of death may kill someone in any situation, but then divine will may intervene with another. Corey’s reward in heaven will be great, as the Bible tells us in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one other than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.”

In conclusion, it seems God spared Trump because he is giving America a second chance. The right thing to do is to repent and pray for America and for God to heal our Land.

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
